For the new season 2000, Divina, the collection intended for sophisticated ladies, is enriched with a new line, the Celtic frames. These new metal models have a finely-worked design as sober as ever. It's a discreet and tasteful reference to Celtic art. After an extensive research on the symbols of that civilization, ELCE has decided to highlight two specific and leading symbols for its hinges.
- The Celtic triangle.
The interlacing adorned with laces of
various colours, emphasizes the reliefs and the purity of its line.
- The Triskell.
It enables smooth curves while remaining
geometrical. The Triskell as well as the Celtic triangle, symbolise a magic and
protective spirit.
Divina offers 6
new metal models.
3 of them use the Triskell on their hinges and are available in 2 full ring and
1 rimless shapes. For some models, velvet laces create an impression of softness
on the eyebrow and on the temples. These last ones are fitted with spring
hinges. Each individual model is available in 3 different colours. Altogether 9
colours are available dark-blue, bronze, mat-silver, gold, silver,
plum-coloured, green, brown and ruthenium.
Divina has been charmed by this Celtic civilization
