E300 Hardware could not be initialised, (Medmont studio 3.9.8)
« on: February 09, 2014, 03:54:25 am »
Hi. I migrated my Medmont Studio 3.9.8 from my Windows XP machine to Windows7 Professional 32bit version. All has been working well for a number of months. Today I am getting the error message above. I have checked Leutron card properties in device manager and it is 'working properly', I have reinstalled the driver to be certain. I have checked the Leutron card is inserted properly and restarted machine a few times without success. Any help would be greatfully received

Dear Justin,

The problem will be the cable between the e300 and the computer, it shoud be broken, inside the e300 body.

This is an old thread, but useful to note that Leutron cards aren't produced anymore, so if problems occur with the Leutron the solution is to get a USB converter box, which requires at least v5 of Medmont Studio. Device manager does not show whether the Leutron card is working, it only shows that the driver is installed.
