DV2000 Digital Imaging Software

Fully Integrated Digital ImagingDV2000 Digital Imaging Software

DV2000 is the digital imaging component of Medmont Studio, completing your suite of integrated applications with a fully featured image capture, review and edit platform, covering all of your digital imaging needs.

It is a widely compatible platform for use with third party retinal cameras and slit lamps, supporting current Canon and Nikon DSLR models and more.

Video and Still Image Capture Modes

Frames can be captured as full-frame video, single images or image sequences. Results can be viewed from within Medmont Studio as thumbnails, full screen previews or video, with dedicated video controls. Annotations can be added and modified.

Frame rates can be specified, image formats can be adjusted and automatic image operations and image masks can be defined for each source. You can even set up custom icons and toolbar shortcuts for your most used image sources, making working with multiple sources friendlier than ever.

Retinal Overlay

DV2000 works with your M700 Automated Perimeter to give a second reference for scotomatous regions by allowing you to overlay a retinal image of the same eye over an existing exam and identify or confirm problem regions or anomolies.

Retinal overlay is a feature of Medmont Studio Feature Pack 1, which can be purchased as an add-on to your standard Medmont Studio license. Contact us for more info.

Mosaic Image Capture

DV2000 gives you the power to capture retinal images in a mosaic pattern, allowing a full representation of the retina in a single image. With automatic image registration and warping, it's easy to construct a retinal mosaic with DV2000.

Mosaic Image Capture is a feature of Medmont Studio Feature Pack 1, which can be purchased as an add-on to your standard Medmont Studio license. Contact us for more info.

Highly Compatible

In addition to supporting many industry standard DSLR cameras from brands such as Canon and Nikon, some video capture cards (for capturing from analog sources) are also supported, including Leutron PicPort Colour, Flashbus MV and Eurosys Picolo cards.

For such video sources, RGB, S-Video and Composite CCD cameras are supported.

For live digital video capture, cameras can be connected via firewire using Direct Show technology.

Driven by Medmont Studio

Medmont DV2000 is operated from within the Medmont Studio integrated software environment.

Medmont Studio has a friendly and familiar user interface that will leave no regular Windows user lost or confused.
