The updates are packaged as self installing executables. Once you have downloaded the updates, you can run it by double clicking the file in Windows explorer or Run from start menu.
If you have more than one component installed on your machine consider downloading Combined Update instead.
The update creates a copy of latest version of the MedmontStudio setup CD-ROM on your PC hard disk (under C:\Program Files\Medmont\Setup3-X-X).
To minimise the size of the update you have to download, the update program uses, where possible, files from a previous version of setup (either from a CD-ROM or an updated copy of Setup on your hard disk). The update program automatically checks the C:\Program Files\Medmont directory for a previous version of setup that it can update. If it finds a suitable version then it automatically builds the new version of setup and then runs it. If it can not find a previous version of Setup under this directory the update program will prompt you to insert your Medmont Studio CD-ROM.
Please ensure that you download the correct upgrade for your currently installed version of Medmont software. You can check the current version under [Help->About] from MedmontStudio.

Data Translation Drivers
Version 3155.300 (14 Oct '99) Data Translation Drivers were shipped with earlier versions of E300 and MedmontStudio installation CD . Due to a bug in the driver files, it fails to install from a CD. For this reason the driver no longer ships with the CD. It must be installed from a Floppy.
The drivers are packaged as zip files. To install, unzip on an empty formatted floppy disk. Follow the instructions, given in the manual, to install the drivers.
