Announcing the release of Medmont Studio 5.3.0

Medmont Studio has been updated to version 5.3.0. To download the update, click the link below:

To install this update, back up your patient database and run the downloaded file, choosing all default options in the installer if nothing in your environment has changed.
 
Important Notice: This version of Medmont Studio has a new Licensing System. Do not install this version until a new activation key has been issued by Medmont or one of its approved distributors. Installing this version without a new license key will prevent you from performing routine clinical diagnostics until a new key can be issued.
 
Changes included in this release are:

  • New Feature – New licensing system. Removing the need for a Rockey4 license dongle. Licensing Medmont Studio now involves entering a new license key which is authorized via the internet. For those without an internet connection a license file can be email to Medmont for authorization.
  • New Feature – Composite E300 maps providing limbus-to-limbus coverage of the cornea. This not only improves overall coverage but also improves the accuracy by averaging multiple maps.
  • New Feature – Added new ICD 16.5 Contact Lens Design from Paragon. A new ICD Clearance Color Scale has also been added which provides a visual assessment of the optimum fitting characteristics for this lens.
  • New Feature – Added support for Flee3 and Chameleon cameras from Point Grey.
  • New Feature – Spanish language support
  • New Feature – Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine (DICOM) support
